School Counselors at Wyoming High School are here to help. Please reach out to your counselor for any assistance you need.
What We Do
As school counselors, we help students focus on academic and social/emotional development so they achieve success in school and are prepared to lead fulfilling lives as responsible members of society.

Information and Resources:
School-Based Mental Health Therapists:
Wyoming City Schools has an ongoing partnership to provide families access to additional private mental health support services for students. This allows families the choice of accessing a private therapist on Wyoming City Schools campuses, reducing missed classtime and eliminating the need for parents and students to travel out of Wyoming to these appointments.
These optional services are in addition to those offered by our school counselors and school psychologists. These services are private services billed directly from the provider to families’ insurances or private payment. While the District offers this on-site partnership, it does not endorse nor assume the cost of services. Your child will continue to receive the educational supports they are currently receiving. Parents may choose to sign a release for the mental health therapist to collaborate with the school counselor or school psychologist to aid in educational planning.
Therapists will meet with students on campus. Flexible hours before and after school are available as needed. While this partnership provides an opportunity for private therapy on campus, there is no obligation. Feel free to contact your child’s school counselor if you have specific questions!
School counselors and school psychologists can also collaborate with outside therapists when a release of information is signed.
